About Fat Burn Fitness
Learn about the mission of Fat Burn Fitness, what it is and what it is not, and meet the founder behind the tutorials that will transform your body and life.
Fat Burn Fitness was primarily created to be a free resource for anyone looking for reliable information on how to start an exercise program, learn proper exercise techniques for both beginner and advanced movements, and live an overall healthier life.
While the name of the site is Fat Burn Fitness, this is not a site devoted to ‘getting shredded’ or looking ‘stage ready’ at the expense of one’s health. If you apply the information in the free guides and tutorials on this site, follow a healthy, sensible diet, and get enough sleep, then you will naturally start losing excess fat.
You may eventually even develop a natural, lean look. You will, however, not get a dehydrated bodybuilder look. What bodybuilders do to achieve that looks requires applied science and extreme manipulation of nutritional variables combined with precise timing. And while it might look cool in photos, it is not healthy at all. Nor is it sustainable. Bodybuilders themselves don’t look that way 365 days a year.
If all that sounds good to you and your goal is to get lean and healthy, then you are in the right place.

About the Founder
Martin was always active as a child and even before he became a teenager he was already doing pushups regularly.
However, it wasn’t until he turned 15 years old when he would receive a formal introduction to structured fitness training via his high school weight room.
One day, after going through a workout with the basketball team, he instantly fell in love with the feeling of pushing and pulling heavy weights around. (Well, in those early days the weights weren’t so heavy - yet - but they felt heavy to him.)

That first training session turned into a six-days-a-week routine for the duration of his high school years and into his twenties.
During that time he achieved impressive feats of strength, including deadlifting over 500 pounds and leg pressing over a ton.
However, he also had poor mobility, weak cardiovascular endurance, and relatively poor relative strength. Although he was able to lift some heavy-ass weights, he couldn’t even do 10 pull-ups!

Everything changed in 2013 when he discovered a YouTube video of someone performing advanced calisthenics movements, including the human flag.
Martin was mesmerized by it and must have re-watched the video five times.
He couldn’t believe it. The man in the video had a very similar physique, but despite the outward appearance, there wasn’t a single exercise that Martin could do from the video.
It was a light bulb moment.
From there he went down the calisthenics rabbit hole and after about two consistent years of pure bodyweight training, he discovered something remarkable: not only did he achieve incredible feats like the human flag and 360 muscle-ups, but he even increased his weightlifting strength without touching weights!
Aside from his personal fitness journey and passion for exercise, for nearly five years, Martin also managed a health and wellness department, overseeing a team of personal trainers and a team of group exercise instructors. He created and designed exercise programs for different age groups and fitness levels, procured equipment and arranged lease agreements for the facility, and more.
In addition, he earned numerous industry certifications, including the NASM Certified Personal Trainer designation and the Dragon Door Progressive Calisthenics Certificate. This professional experience reinforced in him the belief that the best approach to fitness isn’t just about looking strong — it’s about building functional strength, mobility, and long-term health that serves you throughout life.
